MISSION
Established in October 2019 with an agreement signed by the two universities, the University of Turin and the Polytechnic of Turin, and renewed in September 2023, with consequent updating of goals and objectives
The Scienza Nuova “Umberto Eco” inter-university research center promotes research and knowledge sharing activities on topics that intersect with different disciplinary areas and themes, united, mainly but not exclusively, by the focus on the relationship between digital technologies and human sciences.
GOALS
The themes that animate the Center are addressed with transdisciplinary methodology and from both humanistic and technological perspectives, with multiple objectives:

Create a common spirit and generate a structure for interdisciplinary dialogue

Connecting universities, businesses, institutions and intermediate bodies

Train researchers and corporate, administrative and political managers
4
Transfer the results to the territory, strengthening Turin's cultural and industrial vocation and international relations
